Khin Hlaing
Khin Hlaing was commander of 99 Light Infantry Division from at least November 2016 to 10 May 2017 when he became a senior army commander with his appointment to be commander of Northeastern Regional Military Command from 11 May 2017 to April 2018. While holding the rank of Brigadier General and commanding the Northeastern Regional Military Command there was at least one alleged disappearance, killing, rape or torture committed by unit(s) under his command. Following this he was transferred to command Triangle Regional Military Command with rank of Brigadier General to at least 23 September 2018. He was promoted in rank by at least 10 October 2018 to at least 7 August 2020. He was promoted in rank again to Lieutenant General and was made commander of 2 Bureau of Special Operations. He was transferred from 2 Bureau of Special Operations to command 4 Bureau of Special Operations in October 2022 and held that position until 31 March 2023.
